Online seminars

The German Resistance Memorial Center offers online seminars for a range of participants. Seminars can be targeted at school pupils from the age of 15, students, army groups, multipliers, and all other groups of young people and adults. Previous knowledge of National Socialist history would be preferable.

During the online seminars, participants concentrate on selected topics from the permanent exhibition "Resistance against National Socialism." Using example biographies, the seminars introduce the societal breadth and social diversity of the resistance against National Socialism. The focus is on the motives, goals, and scope for action of the people involved in the resistance against the National Socialist dictatorship.

The seminar leader builds on participants' previous knowledge for the online seminar. Interactive and participative elements encourage dialog. The online seminars work with various media content, including historical photos.

Technical note

The access data contains a link with which you can join the booked online seminar from your PC, laptop, tablet or cellphone.

The online seminars can be held flexibly in various learning settings:

Seminar format “Multiplier seminar” (Online)

A key element is familiarizing participants with the permanent exhibition and its accompanying material, as well as the seminar program and the various German Resistance Memorial Center online resources. Examples of particular interest to young people are presented and discussed. The seminar also offers an opportunity to talk about experiences with lesson units on resistance against National Socialism.
